Happy Thursday!

I'm playing along with my first blog game! Are those like reindeer games? What were those guys playing anyway, that Rudolph wanted in so badly?

Goddess in Progress has a Happy Thursday gig, where you list something you're happy about: for Thursday, or for the week being over, or for the weekend. Or all three. I'm playing along. After my thinly-veiled RANT from the other day, we're due.

:: I'm happy the week is over. From Sunday evening through today, both husband and 19-mo old had a stomach "thing". I'll spare you the details, but both bathroom and Diaper Champ got a work out. Poor boys.

:: I'm ecstatic that I live in the Washington, DC metro area, and that this weekend will be history in the making in my town. "Weekend" refers to tomorrow all the way through Tuesday, the BIG Day.

:: And finally... today. I'm thankful for the train table at Barnes&Noble 1/2 mile away, and for the Crazy Toddler Run. My toddler, clutching a Thomas train in one fist, waited for me to fully engage another Mom in lively conversation, paused (for drama), then went screaming down the kiddie section and made himself scarce. When I found him, it was the most hilarious thing EVER. His proudest moment.
