RTT: Random Tuesday Trips

I had a dream last night about a poisonous bird that got into our house and was going around, trying to "peck" everyone...my Mom was there, simultaneously consoling and warning everyone, which is so true-to-life. What does this mean? Is there some "poison" in my life, running after my sub-conscious? Is someone in my life trying to "peck" me to death? Do I have a deep-seated fear of beautiful birds?

Or, it could just be that "fancy" parrot picture in our Spanish "Mis Opuestos" board book? Hm.

I'm ashamed how late my RTT is this week. I blame it on the high pollen count. My punishment is keeping it short. (Should I repent too? Sheesh, you can tell I grew up Catholic.)

I truly love blogging. But I read a comment recently about the possibility of us all needing to do it during the cold, dreary winter months. Now that Spring and 90 degrees are here, are we all finding a few more projects that have been sitting around? Opening doors to new found sunshine, revealing old forgotten dust? (P.S. That was an analogy.)

Warm weather makes me crave fresh fruit and veggies. I'm still fascinated by vegetable packaging, but don't have any psychosis-inducing questions on it this week. However, I'm convinced the bottom of our fruit bowl is a wormhole that leads to a parallel dimension, so we've never reached the bottom of it.

This post is trippy!

Head on over to Keely's place, grab the button, and let her know how fabulous she looks today! and tell her I said so. (:

Yes, this counts as "short" in my blok. Everything is relative. We've talked about this.

Happy Random Tuesday.

I'm glad spring is finally here. I love the warm. Makes toddler wrangler so much easier.

I still want to blog - is that a bad sign?

I crave more fruit on warm days too! I agree that blogging may slow down for some during these nice days. Scary parrot dream. Hope you have calmer dreams tonight!

I completely agree on craving fresh fruits and veggies. The pickings for strawberries at my store have been miserable and I am craving some sweet Driscoll berries 24/8. No, that wasn't a typo.

Fretful dream. Sorry to hear of it. Hope it doesn't return. Maybe you should be concocting a poisoned suet recipe in your head.

Excellent idea... the fruit bowl wormhole. Must open upon a universe where vegetables are smart and humans are numb. You do have some wild notions.

I've noticed a trend between the weather and the amount of posts in my reader. We've been outdoors a lot lately and I've even been slacking. GASP! I hope that poisonous pecking bird doesn't get me.

That's what laptops and WiFi are for!

I think the blogging died down a little for a while there, it was like the holiday season burned everyone out. Not sure about the rest of the world, but I plan on holding strong! I love it!

I don't think there are any poisonous birds.. Usually after a very vivid dream, I try to rationalize it's ability to be real...quickest way to get it out of your head!

Interesting dream, did you watch a show with birds lately?

I crave for salads & fruits on warm days and steamed veggies on cold days.

That post was trippy!

I LOVE the summer fruit and veggie stands. Even the ones on the highway that have got to be covered in a whole lotta fumes....

Are you taking some allergy medicine or something? You are all over the place ... and I mean that in a good way!

Your bird dream is just a reaction to the reality of birds, which, as everyone knows, are really rats with wings.

Your mother, however, symbolized the role of motherhood in protecting her brood from harm.

We're like that, we moms.

I didn't start blogging until the fall but I can see that I will be on here less now that it is nice weather.
